One among the four persons injured in a grenade blast inside a newly opened wine shop at Dewan Bagh on Tuesday evening succumbed to wounds. Official sources said that militants hurled grenade at the wine shop this evening which exploded with a bang, leaving four persons, all employees, injured. The injured were immediately shifted to hospital and one of them succumbed to the injuries. A police officer confirmed the grenade blast and told GNS that attacker disguised himself as buyer. Jammu Kashmir police on Tuesday arrested three persons including a juvenile for allegedly kidnapping and sexually assaulting a minor girl in Malbagh area of Soura in Srinagar outskirts. According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), police said that three persons kidnapped a minor girl from Taqdeer Park Hazratbal and sexually assaulted her at a rented house at Mallabagh. On Tuesday, four soldiers were rescued after their boat capsized due to a windstorm in Wullar Lake in the Sopore in north Kashmir's Baramulla district. An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that the incident took place after a strong windstorm hit the parts of North Kashmir this afternoon. They said that soldiers were part of CASO when their boat capsized following which a massive rescue operation was launched by the army. The Government Forces on Monday said they arrested two hybrid militants of LeT along with arms and ammunition in Sopore town of Baramulla district. An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS), that a joint team of Police, Army’s 22 RR and CRPF’s 179 Bn during a Naka arrested two active hybrid militant at Fruit Mandi crossing of Sopore town. He said that incriminating material including pistol and live ammunition were also recovered from his possession. Police on Monday claimed to have busted a militant module of Lashker-e-Toiba by arresting seven militants and their associates including a woman in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district. “During the course of investigation of cases regarding the recent Bandipora encounters, Police along security forces busted a militant module of LeT by arresting an active Pakistani trained militant, two hybrid militants and four militant associates,” said a police spokesman in a statement to GNS. A tourist from New Delhi slipped to death at Sonmarg tourist resort. Police sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that a tourist from Okhla Delhi was washing his face at Hung Park and during the process, he slipped and fell into the gushing waters. They said that the body was retrieved one kilometer away from the spot of the incident.
