After huge public outcry over the issuance of eviction notices to tribal population and traditional forest dwellers and the axing of apple trees by forest department officials, the J&K Government on Monday started rolling out the Forest Rights Act 2006 (FRA) in Jammu  Kashmir. A football trickster from Kashmir’s Srinagar district, Huzaif Shah has claimed that his achievements have been falsely attributed to another football trickster from Budgam district. The Asian News International (ANI) had recently published a story titled “Kashmiri football trick-shot artist does India proud” in which they featured a young football trickster, Shah Huzaib, who is a class XI student. Abdul Samad, the lone cricketer from the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir was bought by the Sunrisers Hyderabad for a base price of 20 lakh during the auction in Kolkata in December last year. His family is hopeful that Samad will be included in the playing 11 to prove his mettle.
