Two cops were injured after suspected militants Fired upon police party in Manzgam area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday. Two School Teachers Shot Dead at Eidgah, Srinagar

On Thursday, the news came to the fore that two teachers had been shot dead in the Safakadal area of Srinagar, Jammu Kashmir. One of the slain was a female teacher. Both were reportedly shot dead at Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Idgah, Srinagar. It has emerged that the slain male teacher was a Pandit - Deepak, while the female teacher was a Sikh - Satinder Kaur. Sources say that Satinder Kaur was a resident of Allochibagh while Deepak was a resident of Jammu. Both were shifted to SKIMS, reportedly, where they were declared brought dead on arrival.
