Rains in most parts of the Kashmir valley have brought respite from a hot summer, where temperatures surpassed 35 degrees in July. On Sunday morning, heavy showers across the valley are being welcomed by people especially the farmers. The temperatures in the valley dropped down to below 20 degrees. "the weather is likely to improve by Tuesday," officials said on Sunday. Independent Weather monitoring site, Kashmir weather, reported, "Western Disturbance is slowly moving eastwards.
