Two army men suffer injuries after Casper turns turtle

Two army personnel sustained injuries in a road accident in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Tuesday. Official sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that a Casper bearing registration number 10B 008733M skidded off the road near the BDC office in Kalaroos Kupwara. Two army personnel suffered injuries who were on unit routine duty. The soldiers are affiliated with 99 Artillery Regiment. Sources added that both soldiers have been shifted to 428 Field Hospital for treatment. The vehicle suffered extensive damage in the accident. [KNT]

Man dies in Anantnag road accident

A man lost his life in a road accident in Badasgam area of South Kashmir Anantnag district on Tuesday officials said. They told news agency Kashmir Scroll that an accident took place at Badasgam Anantnag between motorcycle and Taveera bearing registration number JK03E 2463 in which motorcyclist got critically injured. They said that motorcyclist identified as Nisar Ahmad Naikoo son of Gh.Qadir Naikoo resident of Nagaam Kokernag, a Govt servant by proffession was reffered to GMC Anantnag for treatment in crictical condition where doctors declared him brought dead. A lady committed suicide by jumping into river Jhelum near Zero Bridge, Rajbagh area of Srinagar on Tuesday morning, officials said.
