A person died while another was injured after a car and a load carrier collided with each other in the Arampora area of north Kashmir's Kupwara district on Thursday. An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that incessant rains triggered a landslide in the Chandgam area, resulting in damage to a residential house. A body was on Wednesday found floating over waters in the Jhelum River near Bijbehara in south Kashmir's Anantnag district, officials said. They told GNS that the body was sighted by non-local labourers, who intimated the authorities about it.
