Special Court Kulgam designated under NIA Act issued proclamation orders against five active militants involved in various terror crimes and targeted killing cases including the killing of teacher Rajni Bala and Bank Manager Vijay Kumar in the district last year. Bike rider dies in Srinagar road accident

A bike rider died in a road accident in the Pantha Chowk area of Central Kashmir Srinagar district Srinagar on Monday. An official told the news agency— Kashmir Scroll that an accident took place in Zaffron Colony Pantha Chowk in which a truck bearing registration number JK01A 4711 hit and injured a biker rider. He said that the bike rider was shifted to the hospital for treatment where he succumbed to injuries. 15 sheep killed in suspected leopard attack in south Kashmir

In a suspected leopard attack over a dozen sheep have been killed and a half-dozen injured in a far-off village of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, officials said. The incident occurred in the Wantrag Ranbirpora hamlet of the district. Officials said that 15 sheep belonging to four persons died in the attack while 6 are injured. They said joint teams have been formed and traps placed to capture the big cat. One of the locals from the hamlet told the news agency Kashmir News Trust over the phone that one lamb is also believed to have been taken away by the animal. Kupwara resident electrocuted to death in Srinagar

A Kupwara resident was electrocuted to death on Sunday near Noora Hospital in Srinagar. An official said that the man identified as Zahoor Ahmad Lone son of Farooq Ahmad Lone of Badnambli village of Kupwara district got electrocuted when he was painting an electric pole near Noora hospital. A man sustained wounds after being attacked by a leopard in the Athoora Kreeri area of north Kashmir's Baramulla district on Saturday.
