The Security forces detected two Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) at Frisal area of South Kashmir's Kulgam district on Saturday while the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) have been called in for disposal, an official said. Residents of Kulgam are demanding widening of vital Bathipora-Manzgam road causing inconvenience to commuters. Youth allegedly dies by suicide in north Kashmir

A youth on Wednesday afternoon allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in Ogmuna locality of Tangmarg in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district. Official sources told a local news wire Kashmir News Apex-(KNA) that a youth (name withheld) who is a resident of Ogmuna Tangmarg allegedly hanged himself inside his room in this afternoon He said that his family members immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that during the intervening night of Sunday and Monday, unknown burglars broke into the shed of a local orchardist named Mohammed Ashraf Malik, a resident of Pahnoo. "When we came to our orchard on Monday morning, we witnessed that the tarpaulin sheet covering the boxes had been brought down and nearly 420 apple boxes packed in the store room stolen away," they said.
