Man Killed in Achabal Anantnag Road Accident

ISLAMABAD, REGIONAL, SOUTH KASHMIR
Waris Shah A 45 year old man was killed in a road accident at Achabal Area of South Kashmir's Anantnag. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that a man identified as Mushtaq Ahmed Tantray son of Ghulam Qadir Tantray a resident of Bidder Kokernag was injured during a collision of vehicles in the Achabal area. The man was shifted to the hospital for treatment but upon his arrival at the hospital, he was declared as brought dead. The Jammu Kashmir Police has reached the spot and are verifying the details of the accident. More details are awaited…

Tehsildar Distributes 810 Domicile Certificates in Anantnag in 3 Days

Salman Shah The Tehsildar of Anantnag in South Kashmir, Abdul Wasi Rouf Deva on Wednesday in continuation of Fast track distribution of domicile certificates at least three hundred certificated at Dialgam (Nayabat) to the desired applicants on the spot. A total of 810 certificates have been issued in the past three days which included 360 domicile certificates on Monday. The office, as per the official, has drafted a schedule/roster to facilitate the issuance of the Domicile Certificates to the desired applicants on a Fastrack basis." Sheikh Nadeem PDL & TDL electrical employees working in the power department protested in Anantnag for their legitimate demands and said to The Kashmiriyat, "our department may have been paralyzed due to electric shock to dozens of casual laborers but till date no steps have been taken for their regularization." Waris Shah/ Sheikh Nadeem A young boy was electrocuted to death in Kokernag area of Anantnag District in South Kashmir on Monday evening. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Ashiq Hussain, a son of Mohammed Hussain Kasana who is resident of Godol area in Kokernag, died on Monday even when he was repairing an electric Line in the Moominabad area of the district. He was rushed to the hospital, where the doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.

Waris Shah A Driver got injured when his vehicle met an accident at Lavlopora Larnoo area of South kashmir's Anantnag district on Monday Evening. A Police official told The Kashmiriyat that a vehicle, Registration no JK02AL 6667,  Skidded off the Road at Lavlopora Larnoo. In the accident the driver received minor injuries. He was shifted to the nearby hospital, PHC Larnoo for treatment where his condition is said to be stable. An Offical at PHC Larnoo identified the injured driver as Mohd Yousuf wani son of  Mohd Hassan Wani, resident of Nowbugh Larnoo. Meanwhile Larnoo police took cognizance in this accident.

Sheikh Nadeem The 19 RR of Indian Army stationed in the Anantnag District of South Kashmir on Monday organised a medical camp and  distributed COVID-19 protective items at Pahloo area in Nowgam. Eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat that scores of people from Nowgam, Pahloo, Khundroo, Pushroo, kuthair, Sonbran and it's adjacent areas were benefited by the camp. "The need of organizing a medical camp was the most of these villages which were badly affected by COVID-19 and many recovered patients were facing acute illness post covid infection," an Army official said.
