3 Men, 2 Women, 1 CRPF trooper Injured Grenade Attack in Sherbagh of Islamabad (Anantnag)

ISLAMABAD
January 31 Six people were injured when Unknown persons hurled a grenade on a Police post near Sherbagh area of South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) district. Sources informed The Kashmiriyat that on Thursday noon unknown persons hurled a grenade on Police post in Sherbagh, however the grenade exploded near the gate of the post. The explosion caused injuries to at least six people who are being treated at the nearby hospital, Hospital officials told The Kashmiriyat. A Police official confirming the attack said, "Six people including two women, three men and one CRPF trooper have been injured in an explosion near Sherbagh of Islamabad (Anantnag) township.

Police Arrests Man with Liquor in Verinag

January 28 The Jamu Kashmir Police on Monday claimed to have arrested a bootlegger from Islamabad (Anantnag) district of south Kashmir. According to police the bootlegger was arrested at a naka checking at Check post Verinag and recovered illicit liquor from his possession.buy aciphex generic buy aciphex generic He said a police party intercepted a suspected person during a naka checking at Check post Verinag. During search, bottles of illicit liquor were recovered from the possession of Sadiq Shaksaaz son of Ghulam Hassan resident of Verinag, he said. Kulgad Residents Out on Streets to Protest Power Crisis in the Area

January 28 The resident of Kulgad area in Achabal belt of Islamabad (Anantnag) district in South Kashmir on Monday morning demanded the restoration of electricity in the area. Shouting slogans against the Power Development Department, scores of people said that electricity has been playing only "hide and seek" with them. The residents of this south Kashmir village are facing the worst power supply ever, they alleged. No Grenade Attack in Sirigufwara, Says Police

January 25 The Jammu Kashmir Police has said that no grenade attack has happened on Sirigfwara Police station in Islamabad (anantnag) district. A Police official while speaking to The Kashmiriyat said that an attack happened in Islamabad (anantnag) township near General Bus stand in which one policeman sustained minor injuries. He refuted the reports of any attack having happened in Sirigufwara.
