January 06 Sheikh Nadeem Officials of Wild Life department on Sunday rescued a wild bear who was stuck in a net in the night hours at Bamdoora Larkipora area of south Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) district. January 02 The Deputy Commissioner (DC) for South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) District, Mohammad Younis Malik on Wednesday during a surprise inspection of PHCs at Sallar and Sirigufara suspended four doctors. January 02 A massive cordon and search operation is underway in Shangus area of South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the RR of Indian Army reached Wani Mohalla of Sheikhpora Payeen in Shangus belt of South Kashmir's Islamabad (anantnag) district on Wednesday and launched a search operation in the area. December 28 Muzaffar Itoo Flames emerged from a shop in the main market of famous hill resort Pahalgam in South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the flames emerged from a hotel in the area named Hotel Glacier and the fire immediately spread to the shops next to the building. However the locals and the Police reached the spot to douse off the flames along with the vehicles of the fire brigade services. December 26 A youth was killed and two others injured in a road accident in Bijbehara in south Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the scooty they were travelling on collided with a three wheeler near Nowbugh area in Bijbehara resulting in the on-spot death of Sameer Ahmed.
