September 07 A Grand Convocation of Islamic Research Institute (Idara Tehqiqat e Islami) will be commemorated in South Kashmir's Islamabad (anantnag) township on Sunday dated 09 September. According to a media spokesman of the institute, Scholars from the entire Kashmir valley will grace the occasion in which 22 Students will be awarded degrees, 13 scholars and 9 Hafizs. September 04 The Government Forces on Tuesday night launched a massive Cordon and Search Operation in the Kharpora area of Arwani belt in South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) District on Tuesday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Rashtriya Rifles of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police jointly launched an Anti Militancy operation in the area. They said that following an input about Militant Presence in the area, the troops jointly launched a CASO. September 04 The Jammu Kashmir Police on Wednesday claimed to have seized 57 bottles of alcohol from Pahalgam area of South Kashmir's Islamabad (anantnag) District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that during a patrol laid down by Jammu Kashmir Police, they recovered huge quantity of Rum and Whiskey, which was being illegally transported.
