Annual Convocation of Idara Tehqiqat to be held on Sunday in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD
September 07 A Grand Convocation of Islamic Research Institute (Idara Tehqiqat e Islami) will be commemorated in South Kashmir's Islamabad (anantnag) township on Sunday dated 09 September. According to a media spokesman of the institute, Scholars from the entire Kashmir valley will grace the occasion in which 22 Students will be awarded degrees, 13 scholars and 9 Hafizs. They said a live question and answer secession will be organized for general public to clear doubts about religion and the convocation will be held at the ground of Idara Tehqiqat e Islami. Islamic Research institute was founded by the slain Mirwaiz of South Kashmir, Dr. Qazi Nisar who was assassinated by unknown gunmen in 1994.

September 06 The Jammu Kashmir Police on Thursday claimed that Feroz Ahmed who was admitted with a slit throat in District hospital on Islamabad (Anantnag) was a suspect of Militant outfit Jaish- e- Mohammad. September 06 A man with a slit throat was brought to the District hospital of Islamabad (Anantnag) in South Kashmir on Thursday afternoon. Hospital Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a man with a slit throat was brought to the hospital by some unknown persons and dropped straight outside the operation theater. CASO Launched in Islamabad (Anantnag) area

September 04 The Government Forces on Tuesday night launched a massive Cordon and Search Operation in the Kharpora area of Arwani belt in South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) District on Tuesday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Rashtriya Rifles of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police jointly launched an Anti Militancy operation in the area. They said that following an input about Militant Presence in the area, the troops jointly launched a CASO. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that the forces have blocked all the entry and exit points to the area and a massive search operation has started. Jammu Kashmir Police Seizes Alcohol Bottles in Pahalgam

September 04 The Jammu Kashmir Police on Wednesday claimed to have seized 57 bottles of alcohol from Pahalgam area of South Kashmir's Islamabad (anantnag) District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that during a patrol laid down by Jammu Kashmir Police, they recovered huge quantity of Rum and Whiskey, which was being illegally transported. While talking to The Kashmiriyat Station House Officer Pahalgam confirmed that some alcohol has been recoveered from a vehicle.
