Speedy Tipper Crushes Minor Girl to Death in Islamabad (Anantnag)

ISLAMABAD
September 04 A young girl was crushed to death by a speeding tipper at Zaldoora area of South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) early morning on Tuesday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a vehicle bearing the registration number JK03B 4399 hit a minor girl on the main road in Zaldoora resulting into her on the spot death. She has been identified as Andleep Rashid aged 3 years Daughter of Abdul Rashid, a resident of Zaldoora. As per initial reports, the driver of the tippper managed to escape from the spot. As the news of the accident spread, people came on the streets and started protesting demanding the arrest of the tipper driver. A Police official posted in the area confirmed the news of the accident and said that police is investigating the matter.

SE PDD South Circle Bijebhera places two officials under suspension

September 01 Following electrocution incident in dialgam ,Superintending Engineer PDD South circle has placed two officials including junior Engineer  Mohd Yaqoob Teeli  and inspector Mohd Maqbool Beigh under suspension with immediate effect. He has directed Exon PDD Anantnag to furnish detailed report about  the incident within two days. Remember in the morning the two officials were electrocuted in the dialgam out of them one succumbed to injuries. Meanwhile people of Mattan ,pran bhawan ,Bonagam and Sadar bazar have appealed SEE PDD South to transfer  casual and permanent staff of linemen in these areas however people appreciated efforts of JE Sandeep, incharge officer Ashaq Hussain,inspector Nissar Ahmed  and some casuals .

One Lineman Electrocuted to Death, Another Injured in Dialgam

September 01 SHEIKH NADEEM One linemen of Power Development Department jammu Kashmir died while another was injured while repairing a HT line in Dialgam area of South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the two linemen who were repairing a high tension line in the Her Dialgam area  were electrocuted, one of them died on the spot and another one sustained serious injuries. They were immediately rushed to the hospital where the hospital sources confirmed the incident to The Kashmiriyat. They identified the deceased lineman as Mohammed Khalil Itoo, a resident of Khashipora in Dialgam while the injured lineman was identified as Ghulam Mohammed Misgar.

Road Accident in Brakpora- Two Injured

September 01 Two Persons were injured in a road accident when a collision of two vehicles took place in the Brakpora area of South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) District early morning on Saturday, Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Two Persons identified as Abdul Rashid Bhat and Owais Qadir Wagay got injured in this collision of two vehicles . The Injured were rushed to the district hospital of South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) district for treatment.

September 01 A Cordon and Search Operation has been launched in the Soaf Shali of Kokernag in South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anamtnag) District on Saturday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Government Forces including 19 RR of Indian Army and Jammu Kashmir Police launched a joint Anti Militancy operation in the area following specific input about Militant presence in the Soaf Shali area. Locals said that a heavy contingent of Forces have reached the area and are conducting a search operation in the area. The search operation was going on when this report was filed.

Clashes Erupt near the Encounter Site in Islamabad (Anantnag)

August 29 Clashes between protesters and government forces erupted near gunfight site in Muniwar area of south Kashmir’s Islamabad (anantnag) district where a gunfight between militants and forces is underway. August 29 A Massive gunfight has erupted between Militants and Government Forces in Banpora Muniwar area of South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) District. Officials told The Kashmiriyat that 1 RR of Indian Army, 96 BN of CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police jointly launched a Cordon and Search operation in the area in the wee hours of morning. Jamia Masjid of Islamabad, Vehicles Ransacked in Islamabad Town

August 27 The personnel from CRPF allegedly ransacked the Jamia Masjid of Islamabad district at Reshi Bazar area in South Kashmir's Islamabad township on Monday. Eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat that scores of troopers from CRPF hurled rocks on the Jamia Masjid and broke the window panes of the central mosque here. "Aaj Dil khush ho gaya (Today we are happy)" the troops allegedly shouted after vandalizing the window panes of the Jamia Masjid. The Forces went berserk and broke window panes of many houses and broke glasses of many cars in reshi bazar, Qazi Mohallah localities, Locals told The Kashmiriyat. August 27 Intense Clashes erupted in Lal Chowk area of Islamabad township in South Kashmir on Monday as hundreds of youth hit the streets. The youth were demanding the special status of Kashmir to be safeguarded, when some youth started throwing stones on Forces deployed in the area. The Police in retaliation fired tear smoke shells upon the people and fired aerial shots, as per eyewitnesses, to disperse the protesters. meanwhile massive clashes were going on when this report was filed.
