Intense Clashes Erupt in Islamabad Township

July 25 Intense Clashes have erupted on new bypass (Mehandi Kadal to Ashajipora road) in Islamabad township of South Kashmir on Wednesday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that hundreds of youth shouting pro Freedom and pro Islam slogans threw stones on Government Forces. Government Forces are engaged in a gunfight with Militants trapped in a house of Mehmaan Mohallah in Lal chowk area of Islamabad (Anantnag) township. The Forces fired aerial shots and tear smoke shells to disperse the protesting youth, however the clashes were going on when this report was filed. No Clashes have been reported from anywhere else in the township.

July 25 Massive firing and blasts are being heard in the Islamabad township in South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) township early morning on Wednesday. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that massive firing is being heard in the township since 4 am after which internet services were immediately suspended.
