July 25 Intense Clashes have erupted on new bypass (Mehandi Kadal to Ashajipora road) in Islamabad township of South Kashmir on Wednesday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that hundreds of youth shouting pro Freedom and pro Islam slogans threw stones on Government Forces. Government Forces are engaged in a gunfight with Militants trapped in a house of Mehmaan Mohallah in Lal chowk area of Islamabad (Anantnag) township. The Forces fired aerial shots and tear smoke shells to disperse the protesting youth, however the clashes were going on when this report was filed. No Clashes have been reported from anywhere else in the township.

July 25 Massive firing and blasts are being heard in the Islamabad township in South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) township early morning on Wednesday. July 22 Massive Clashes erupted in Dialgam area of South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) District on Sunday after the killing of three Militants in Khudwani encounter in Kulgam. Sources told The Kashmriyat that youth in large numbers hit the streets and threw stones on vehicles of Government Forces who retaliated with intense tear smoke shelling.
