June 27 A Cordon and Search Operation has been launched in Seepan area of South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) District on Wednesday noon. A Police official told The Kashmiriyat that the cordon has been launched in the area by Government forces including 1 RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police. The official said that the operation has been launched after an input was received about Militant presence in the area. The Search operation was going on as the entry and exit points have been sealed the Seepan area. Details Emerging.

June 26 A Youth from Islamabad township of South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) district who had gone missing has posed with an Assault AK 47 Rifle. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the family of the youth had filed a missing report in the Islamabad Police station, which was confirmed by the Police officials. The youth identified as Burhan Ahmed Ganie aged 25 is a resident of SK Colony in Islamabad town outskirts and has a a physiotherapy degree. June 24 The incarcerated Chairman of Ummat e Islami and Mirwaiz of South Kashmir, Qazi Ahmed yasir on Sunday while expressing anger over bloodhsed in South Kashmir has said that the forces are conducting a steady genocide in South Kashmir. He said that unabated killings and inhumane behavior goes unchecked in Kashmir, perhaps the Indian Forces were planning this genocide every moment during the so called ceasefire when they killed at least 25 humans. June 21 A cordon and search operation in Yaripora area of South Kashmir's Kulgam District on Thursday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police launched a search operation in the area. All the entry points have been sealed post an input about Militant movement in the area. Meanwhile a cordon and search operation that had been launched in Yamrach Kulgam has been called off. Officials told that nothing was found in the area after a search operation was conducted there.

March 30 Mushtaq Ahmed Sheikh Son of Late Sanaullah Sheikh, a resident of Katoo area in South Kashmir's Bijbehara Locality was shot dead by Unidentified Gunmen in late hours of Thursday. Residents said that around 8 pm, three masked men entered into the Shed Mushtaq resided in and shot him dead.
