An official told The Kashmiriyat that on Thursday morning amid a heavy downpour firing resumed at the site of the encounter. He said that after the initial exchange of gunfire the Militants had managed to escape, however as the searches continued, contact was established with the Militants yet again in the wee hours of Thursday morning. Waris Shah The body of an unidentified man has been recovered in South kashmir Kapren Village of Verinag in Anantnag district on Wednesday afternoon. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that on Wednesday they spotted the body lying in an open area in the Kapran Verinag area and immediately informed police about it. Sheikh Nadeem A leopard cub was caught by the Wildlife employees in the Arampora village of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday Locals told The Kashmiriyat that a leopard cub that was roaming in the area was spotted by locals in Arampora area of Dooru on Wednesday afternoon. The Locals immediately informed the Wildlife Department after which a team of Wildlife casual laborers reached the spot and caught the leopard cub. A wildlife official meanwhile told The Kashmiriyat that the department has asked its men to remain alert as there was the possibility of the leopardess, mother of the cubs, searching for them.
