Officials told The Kashmiriyat that on Friday afternoon, an IED was detected by 9 RR of Indian Army, CRPF and J&K police near Amhadia Masjid in Shurat area of Kulgam, which was hidden in a pipe. An official told The Kashmiriyat that 35-year-old woman Mehmooda Akhtar wife of Muzaffar Ahmed Najar, a resident of Shurat area in Kulgam was hit by Ashfaq Ahmed Bohro, who is mentally ill, with a stick.
