April 04 A former PDP activist and a Panch who was critically wounded after being after shot at by unknown gunmen at Shalipora area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday evening succumbed to injuries at a local hospital here. The Panch who had been identified as Abdul Majeed Dar succumbed to his injuries on Thursday morning, Sources told The Kashmiriyat. On Wednesday evening, masked gunmen barged inside the house of Abdul Majeed Dar and fired upon him at Shalipora village in Kulgam, he was injured critically in the incident. March 28 The Government Forces on Thursday have arrested a Militant from Bijbehara area of South Kashmir's Islamabad (anantnag) district. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Rameez Ahmed Wani, a resident of Hawoora in South Kashmir's Kulgam district who has been active since February 2017 has been arrested by Forces in Bijbehara. Rameez Joined Militancy along with his two friends, Younis and Dawood in February 2017 after they were released post 10 months in a murder related case.
