August 26 A Cordon and Search Operation has been launched in the Paniwah area in South Kashmir's Kulgam District on Sunday  morning. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Government Forces including RR of Indian Army and Jammu Kashmir Police launched a joint Anti Militancy operation in the area following specific input about Militant presence in the Paniwah area. Locals said that a heavy contingent of Forces have reached the area and are conducting a search operation in the area. The search operation was going on when this report was filed.

August 25 A journalist named Deen Imran who reports for Munsif TV was manhandled by some unknown persons in District Hospital of Islamabad in South Kashmir. Deen Imran, who was covering visuals of the injured persons allegedly assaulted by Government Forces in Redwani area of Kulgam was manhandled by a few youth. "I was just doing my professional duty and i did not intend to harm anyone, why are we facing the wrath of all sides, the Government Forces assault us and so do the youth," Deen Imran told The Kashmiriyat over phone. August 22 Mir Musavir A teenage boy died in a road accident while one more was injured when a Maruti car hit their bike in Quimoh area of South Kashmir's Kulgam district on Wednesday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that 15 year old Umair Rehman died on the spot after being hit by a Maruti car near on a main road in the Quimoh locality. An eyewitness told The Kashmiriyat that his cousin Shahid Ahmed a resident of Rooh in Islamabad (Anantnag) district was also injured in the road accident. The injured was shifted immediately to the hospital after being injured in the road accident.
