Jammu and Kashmir Police Sunday said two militants of Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) were killed in an encounter in the Devsar area of South Kashmir's Kulgam district. A senior police officer told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that two militants including foreigner belonging to LeT militant outfit were killed in an encounter with security forces at Cheyan area of South Kashmir's Kulgam district. Official told The Kashmiriyat that a youth identified as Murtaza Rengrez (22), son of Shaheen Ahmad, a resident of Bongam Kulgam was found dead on the banks of river in Katrasoo, Kulgam this morning. "The deceased had gone yesterday to wash his car bearing registration number (JK05D-7923). However, today morning his body found in the nearby river bank" he said. The deceased was a student of Govt.
