July 07 Militants on Saturday appeared in Redwani area of South Kashmir's Kulgam District and offered Gun salute to the slain civilians, eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat. Eyewitnesses said that militants in a group of five to seven appeared in Redwani and fired in the air to offer gun salute to the slain civilians. Three youth including a 16 year old girl who were shot dead by Government Forces hailed from the Redwani area and their dead bodies have reached home. The youth were killed when Government Forces laid a siege around the Hawoora area and Youth in large numbers hit the streets pelting stones on Government Forces.

July 07 One civilian has been critically injured during clashes at Hawoora area of South Kashmir's Kulgam district. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Government Forces entered the area to lay a siege around the Hawoora area. However youth in large numbers came out on the streets and hurled stone on the vehicles of Government Forces who responded with massive tear smoke shelling. As per reports, one youth has been critically wounded during the ongoing clashes which erupted half an hour ago. Police officials told The Kashmiriyat that it was a normal search operation when some youth came out on the streets and tried to disrupt the operation. Details emerging.

July 06 A Constable of J&K Police who was abducted by unidentified gunmen from his home in Vehil Kachdoora Shopain was now found dead. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that his dead body found in Pariwan area of South Kashmir's kulgam district early morning on Friday. Identified as Javaid Ahmed Dar, he was kidnapped by unidentified gunmen from his house in the shopian area. The Government Forces had launched massive manhunt to find Javaid, but to no success as his dead body has been found.

July 05 A Civilian was late night on Tuesday kidnapped by unidentified gunmen from his house in Gath Redwani area of Khudwani area in South Kashmir's Kulgam District. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that unknown gunmen entered the house of Shabir Ahmed Malla at Kawaki Bazar in the area and kidnapped him from his house around 10 pm on Tuesday. They said that Shabir was abducted on gun point by the gunmen and was severely assaulted before being kidnapped from his house. On Wednesday morning, Shabir was found in an unconscious state near SOG Camp at Tuli Nowapora in Kulgam area, Locals said. They added that he was shifted immediately to the hospital for treatment. June 27 Gunshots were heard during cordon and search operation in Watoo area of South kashmir's Kulgam district. Sources said soon after government forces cordoned off the area few gunshots were heard  created panic in the area. Earlier government including RR and Police cordoned off the area after receiving specific inputs about the presence militants in the area. Search operation was going  on when this report  was filed. June 24 Last year the photo of a Militant carrying an RPG on his shoulder had stirred the security agencies in Kashmir. The photo was of a popular commander, Shakoor Ahmed Dar from the Czopath area of South Kashmir's Qazigund in Kulgam District. Shakoor Ahmed Dar had reportedly joined Militants in October 2016 but he was working as an upper ground worker for Lashkar e Taiba since 2015, as per police sources. Shakoor was responsible for many recruitment for lashkar e Taiba from South Kashmir districts, Sources said. His family members were also thrashed the last year after which his father said that he was not going to call back his son.
