"There is a pattern, if there is no success during CASOs or no encounters rage anywhere, a civilian is killed," Mirwaiz Yasir said. Massive Clashes Erupt in Kulgam

July 07 One civilian has been critically injured during clashes at Hawoora area of South Kashmir's Kulgam district. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Government Forces entered the area to lay a siege around the Hawoora area. However youth in large numbers came out on the streets and hurled stone on the vehicles of Government Forces who responded with massive tear smoke shelling. As per reports, one youth has been critically wounded during the ongoing clashes which erupted half an hour ago. Police officials told The Kashmiriyat that it was a normal search operation when some youth came out on the streets and tried to disrupt the operation. Details emerging.

Abducted Policeman found Dead in Kulgam

July 06 A Constable of J&K Police who was abducted by unidentified gunmen from his home in Vehil Kachdoora Shopain was now found dead. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that his dead body found in Pariwan area of South Kashmir's kulgam district early morning on Friday. Identified as Javaid Ahmed Dar, he was kidnapped by unidentified gunmen from his house in the shopian area. The Government Forces had launched massive manhunt to find Javaid, but to no success as his dead body has been found.

Unidentified Gunmen Thrash a Khudwani Local

July 05 A Civilian was late night on Tuesday kidnapped by unidentified gunmen from his house in Gath Redwani area of Khudwani area in South Kashmir's Kulgam District. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that unknown gunmen entered the house of Shabir Ahmed Malla at Kawaki Bazar in the area and kidnapped him from his house around 10 pm on Tuesday. They said that Shabir was abducted on gun point by the gunmen and was severely assaulted before being kidnapped from his house. On Wednesday morning, Shabir was found in an unconscious state near SOG Camp at Tuli Nowapora in Kulgam area, Locals said. They added that he was shifted immediately to the hospital for treatment. July 03 The Government Forces on Tuesday have launched a cordon and search operation in Yamrach, Yaripora area of South Kashmir's Kulgam District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that 9RR of Indian Army, jammu Kashmir police has jointly launched the operation. The anti militancy operation has been launched following a specific input about Militant movement in the area. Massive Fire Engulfs Kulgam Area, 3 Residential Houses Damaged

July 02 Two Residents Houses were partially and one completely damaged when massive fire engulfed the Sheikh Mohallah area in Bongam area of South Kashmir's Kulgam District on Monday morning. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that the house of one Mohammed Yusuf Sheikh from the locality was completely gutted in the fire. People and fire services tried to doze off the fire, but not before it has damaged three residential houses in the Kulgam area. The immediate reason of the fire could not be known. Sources said soon after government forces cordoned off the area few gunshots were heard  created panic in the area.
