Family members told The Kashmiriyat that Sajad Ahmed Seeri son of Saein Seeri went missing from his home in Mathindoo Larnoo area of Kokernag in south Kashmir's Anantnag district. The family members have appealed to him to return back. "It is a humble and sincere appeal to everyone to help share this message more and more to get their son to return to him back to the family," the family members said.

A civilian and an Army man were injured in an encounter at Redwani area of Kulgam district on Friday. An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a joint of team of Army, police and CRPF after receiving information about the presence of militants launched search operation in the area. He said that as the joint team of forces intensified searches towards suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the party, which was retaliated, thus triggering an encounter. He said that during the exchange of fire, one civilian and an Army man were injured, who have rushed to the hospital for treatment.
