2 Arrested For Snatching Weapon in Pampore

August 13 Two youth who were involved in the weapon snatching bid, according to Jammu Kashmir Police, have been arrested as they snatched the weapon of a bank guard deployed in the Jammu Kashmir bank at Khrew are in Pampore on Friday Afternoon. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that early morning on Monday two youth were arrested who snatched the weapon of a bank guard. They have been identified as Yasir Ahmad Wani son resident of Babapora Khrew and Yawar Sultan, a resident of Hudpora sharshali. The two youth have been taken into detention and an FIR No 57/2018 stands registered at police station Khrew in this regard. Pertinently on Friday two youth had snatched the weapon and attacked the JK Bank guard Mukhtar Ahmad Bajad at Khrew, Pampore on Friday afternoon. ...

Search Operation Launched in Bangidar Islamabad

August 12 The Government Forces on Sunday afternoon launched a search operation in the Bangidar area of Islamabad township in South Kashmir. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that Government Force personnel in large numbers reached the Bangidar Locality and are conducting massive search operation in the area. Road Accident in Sagam Kokernag

August 12 SHEIKH NADEEM/ WARIS SHAH Three persons were injured when a Snatro car collided with a tipper in Sagam area of Kokernag in South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) District on Sunday afternoon. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that a Santro JK03D 9675 collided with a Tipper bearing the registration number JK05A 4081 resulting in the injury of three persons. The injured have been identified as Tabeena Mushtaq resident of Kehribal aged 8, Amir Wagay resident of Sagam aged 20, Zehra Begum resident of Sagam Kokernag. August 12 Massive Clashes erupted during a CASO launched in Kar gam locality of Sirnoo area in South Kashmir's Pulwama District. The Government forces laid down a Cordon and search operation in the main town area  on Sunday. August 12 Four persons died after they tumbled into a Trench in Khanpora area of Utersoo in South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) area on Sunday Morning. August 11 The Government forces raided the Rehpora Locality in Khudwani area of South Kashmir's Kulgam district and arrested youths during the intervening night of Friday and Saturday. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that at least five youths have been arrested in the Khudwani locality when forces raided the Rehpora Village around 1230 in the night. August 11 As many as fourteen civilians have been killed in the firing of Government Forces in Shopian district alone. As per figures available to The Kashmiriyat Shopian District has been the worst hit, the district witnessed four civilian killings on a single day on March 4 at Pehnoo area.
