After Request of Family, Abducted Cop Reaches Home Safely

July 28 Suspected Militants who had abducted Special Police Officer Shakeel Ahmed Lone at his residence in Chan Kitar area of Tral late night on Friday has reached home just now. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Militants have released Shakeel who has reached home safely after his family had issued a video in the day requesting Militants to set him free. In the video, the family members had invoked God and asked Militants to Forgive Shakeel who was the brother to three sisters. Militants have also released a video, in which Shakeel is heard asking other SPOs to return home and is heard confessing that SPOs have been used to keep an eye on stone throwers and  Militant Movement. Gunshots heard During CASO in Kulgam Area

July 28 Gunshots were heard during a Cordon and Search Operation launched in Khee Jogipora area of South Kashmir's Kulgam District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a cordon and search operation was launched by Government Forces in the village following specific input about Militant presence in the area. The RR of Indian Army and Jammu Kashmir police have jointly launched the search operation in the village. At least 4 CRPF men Injured in Grenade Attack at Pulwama

July 28 Unidentified persons hurled a grenade on a CRPF patrol party in Jawbehra in Awantipora area of South Kashmir's Pulwama District on Saturday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that unknown persons hurled a grenade on CRPF men near the camp of 130 Battalion of CRPF in the Awantipora area. As per initial reports four CRPF men have been injured in the attack who have been shifted to the hospital, the condition of one of them is stated to be critical. Details Emerging.

The residents of Watrigam and Wanihama area of South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) District have complained that the customers of Airtel and Jio are suffering immensely due to poor network connectivity. Forces Launch CASO in Pulwama, Intense Stone Pelting Begins

July 28 Massive Clashes erupted during a CASO launched in Bellow area of South Kashmir's Pulwama District. The Government forces laid down a Cordon and search operation in area Bellow area  on Saturday afternoon. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that 55 RR of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF laid down the Search operation jointly. "The Operation was launched after troopers received a specific input about Militant movement in the area," Sources said. Hundreds of youth hit the streets when the Anti Militancy operation was launched and threw stones on troops amid intense pro Freedom sloganeering. July 28 A youth namely Ishfaq Ahmad wani son of late Mohammad yousuf wani resident of Koil village of Pulwama district is missing from last seven days and his family is afraid that he might have joined militant ranks. Ishfaq an MBA pass out from Baba Gulam shah Badshah university Rajouri has left his home on 20th of this month and since then he is untraceable,  one of his family member told The Kashmiriyat. Brother of Militant who escaped from Prison Rearrested

July 27 Brother of Slain Militant Nisar Ahmed Wani who had escaped from the Police custody has been arrested again on Friday in Shopian District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Nisar Ahmed Wani was arrested by Jammu Kashmir Police in Shopian of South Kashmir. Suhail Ahmad Wani of Heff Shopian who was apprehended by SOG Zainpora on July 15, 2018, and escaped from their custody on July 25, 2018 was rearrested on Friday afternoon.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that 44 RR of Indian, Army and Jammu Kashmir police jointly launched the cordon and search operation in the locality.
