September 28 The Jammu Kashmir police on Friday said that it has arrested the mastermind behind the posters which were being used to issue threats to the Special Police Officers, political workers and other Police Officers. September 27 Protests erupted in Islamic University of Science and Technology on Thursday after the students early morning held a sit in to protest the ongoing killing spree in Kashmir valley. A Student while speaking to The Kashmiriyat said students in large numbers holding placards and shouting pro Freedom slogans demanded an end to the ongoing killing spree in Kashmir. Pertinently two Militants have been killed so far on Thursday in two separate encounters that raged in South kashmir and in Budgam parts of the Kashmir valley.

Militant Killing- Spontaneous Shutdown, Stone Throwing Clashes in Islamabad (Anantnag)

September 27 Intense Stone throwing clashes erupted on Thursday in Dialgam area of Islamabad (Anantnag) district as the news of a local militant getting killed in an encounter spread in the area. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that youth in large numbers shouting pro Freedom and pro Militancy slogans hurled stones on Forces passing through the area. The forces fired tear smoke shells on the protesters to disperse them, however the clashes were going on when this report was filed. Meanwhile in most parts of the District including the Islamabad township, people are observing a shutdown to protest the killing of a Local Militant. September 23 One Militant has been reportedly killed in the ongoing encounter at  Ganie Gund in Aripal of Tral area in South Kashmir’s Pulwama  District on Sunday. Officials told The Kashmiriyat that 42 RR of Indian Army, SOG of Police and CRPF jointly launched the Anti Militancy operation. During the Cordon and Search Operation, The holed up Militants fired on the forces triggering a Gunfight. Massive CASO launched in 8 Pulwama Villages

September 04 Following the killing of three policemen In Shopian on Friday, a massive Cordon and Search Operation has been launched in the eight villages South Kashmir's Pulwama  District on Saturday morning. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that 55RR of Indian Army, 183 and 184 BN of CRPF and  Jammu Kashmir Police jointly launched an Anti Militancy operation in the villages. As per sources the operation has been launched at Lassipora, Armula, Alaipura, Batnur, Garbug, Nowpora Payeen, Hajdarpora and Achan. They said that following an input about Militant movement in the area, the troops immediately rushed to the spot. September 20 Unknown persons hurled a grenade on Police post in Rajpora area of South Kashmir's Pulwama District late evening on Thursday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that unknown persons hurled a grenade on a Police post in Rajpora area which missed the target and exploded near the gate of the Police station which was retaliated by Forces with intense firing. The Militants escaped from the spot, as per sources. As per initial reports, nobody has been injured in the attack. A police official said that a search operation has been launched around the area.

First Blinded With Pellets, Now Pulwama Boy Booked Under PSA

September 20 Pulwama boy, a Pellet victim and blind by one eye has been booked under public safety act over charges of stone throwing. Sources informed The Kashmiriyat that Suhail Ahmad Trambo son of Mohammad Ahsan, resident of Murran Pulwama has been booked under PSA today and subsequently shifted to Kuthua Jail. Pertinently Suhail was arrested along with other local ten youth furing nocturnal raids in Pulwama's Muran area, however all others have been released and suhail has been booked under PSA.
