November 25 Intense Clashes have erupted between protesters and government forces erupted in Batagundd area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district where a gunfight between militants and forces is underway. A Local told The Kashmiriyat that scores of protesters including women assembled and pelted stones on forces who responded to intense firing and tear smoke shelling. November 2 unidentified gunmen kidnapped two civilians and a former SPO from a village in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Friday evening. A police official said that unknown gunmen on Friday evening abducted two civilians and former SPO from Reban village of Zainpora in Shopian district.
