Suspected Militants Kill Three Abducted Policemen

September 21 Suspected militants killed three abducted cops in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Friday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the cops were cop were abducted from two villages Bategund and Kapren after suspected militants barged into their houses late night on Thursday. The slain Policemen have been identified as  Firdous Ahmad, Kuldeep Singh and Nisar Ahmad. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that the bullet riddled bodies of three cops have been recovered from Dangam area of Shopian. The fourth abducted cop namely Tajaullah has been released by the Militants.

September 15 Five Local Militants were killed in the gunfight that had raged late night on Friday in Czogam area of South Kashmir's Kulgam District. Massive CASO underway in Shopian Area, Clashes Erupt

September 14 A CASO has been launched in Lone Mohallah, Batpora and Malpora localities of Turkwangam area of South Kashmir's Shopian District on Friday morning. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that 44 RR of Indian Army, SOG of Jammu Kashmir Police laid down the Search operation jointly. September 13 A Total of eight Militants have been killed in the day in Kashmir in three separate gunfights that raged in Sopore (Baramulla), Keran (Kupwara) and kakriyal (Jammu). CASO Launched in Pulwama Area

September 13 The Government Forces on Thursday jointly launched a cordon and search operation in the Kangan area of South Kashmir's Pulwama District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that on Thursday, the forces including 55 RR of Indian Army, and SOG of Jammu Kashmir police sealed all the entry and exit points to the Kangan area. September 11 Intense clashes erupted in Handwara and Sopore areas of North Kashmir on Tuesday over the killing of two Local Militants in a gunfight that raged early morning today in Kaloora forests of Handwara in North Kashmir. Reports reaching The Kashmiriyat said that hundreds of youth took to streets in the North Kashmir areas after the news of the killing of two local Militants spread in the area. Shouting pro Freedom and Pro Militancy slogans, the youth hurled stones on the troops deployed in the area, who fired tear smoke shells on the protesters.
