Late afternoon on Thursday, the forces including 44 RR of Indian Army, and Jammu Kashmir police sealed all the entry and exit points to the Wathoo area. September 04 unknown persons fired a few gunshots towards near the camp of Special Operations Group of Jammu Kashmir Police stationed at Imam Sahib area in South Kashmir's Shopian District on Tuesday. Sources told The Kashmiryat that the gunshots created panic in the area and the shoppers immediately downed their shutters. September 02 A brief gunfight broke out between militants and the government forces in Laddi locality of Imam Sahib in south Kashmir's Shopian district early Sunday morning. Officials told The Kashmiriyat that 44 RR, Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF had jointly launched a Cordon and search operation during which the holed up Militants opened fire upon forces, triggering a gunfight around 8 am. August 30 The House of an active militant was ransacked by forces in the Amshipora area of South Kashmir's Shopian district, the family claimed. A Local from the area told The Kashmiriyat that forces barged into the house of active Militant, Shah Jahan and vandalized the property in the house.
