Cattle thieves steal three Cows from Shopian village

Creating panic among locals, Cattle thieves have stolen three cows from a cowshed in the Reban area of Zainapora helmet in South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Saturday- Sunday intervening night.

Report’s reaching TheKashmiriyat said that “cattle thieves are on the prowl in the area. “In a fresh incident thieves broke into the cattle shed of Ali Mohammad Wagay at Reban village in Zainapora helmet and took away his 3 cows.

A local resident, Sameer Ahmad Wagay son of Ali Mohammad Wagay, whose cow was stolen told The Kashmiriyat that on Saturday midnight thieves stole their 3 cows.

“I had brought these animals for around 1.50 lakhs from local farmers, he said that he has filed a complaint before concerned Police Station and I request the concerned Station Head Officer (SHO) to look into the matter and arrest the thieves as early as possible.”

Meanwhile, s senior police official told The Kashmiriyat that the police is investigating the case.
