The District Development Commissioner Mr. Anshul Garg today convened a meeting of officers from Forest and RDD on constituting FRCs conduct of their training at DC office Anantnag.
The DDC was apprised by DFO Anantnag that FRCs stand constituted at village and Block levels and training sessions were also held to impart training to Range Officers & BDO’s by masters trainers.
He directed the concerned officers of the department to ensure the training of FRCs by their master trainers.
While informing about the achievements made under MGNREGA, the ACD told the meeting that under MGNREGA, 2846 works stand physically completed while 495 works have been completed financially also. Out of the 5917 works including 3316 of the current year and 2601 as spell overworks and more than 25 lac main days have been generated with a financial implication of Rs. 136.95 cr.
The DDC after taking a detailed and comprehensive review of the progress on various schemes initiated by the state in the Rural Development Sector including Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), MGNREGA, Aadhaar seeding, job card and other schemes. Other issues were also discussed in the meeting including the percentage of works completed, new targets, financial performance under MGNREGA, financial progress report under B2V programme.
The DDC directed the Xen RDD and all BDO’s to concentrate on the preparation and uploading of bills for completed works. He also asked the BDOs to ensure the completion of under progress works within the stipulated time and for uploading the bills accordingly so that pending liability is cleared
He assured that the central government will provide all possible financial assistance to the state government to uplift rural infrastructure. He stressed upon the officers to speed up the construction work of new Panchayat Bawans and asked for completion of 3706 works taken up under 14th FC & MGNREGA convergence.
The meeting was also attended by DFO Lidder, DFO social forestry, ACD, Xen REW and all BDO’s.
