The Chief Educational Officer Anantnag has written to the Police to register an FIR against an Anantnag-based private school for “violating” the educational policy.
In a formal complaint, accessed by The Kashmiriyat, the CEO Anantnag has written to the Station House Officer, Verinag, and asked the Police officer to lodge an FIR against Al Sarwat Convent school, Krangsoo Anantnag.
“This to intimate that a video clip of the students who were taken to picnic by the above school to Verinag on 15.06.2022 went viral on social media wherein it has been shown that some students were taking tobacco etc. in the open park which is a gross violation of Education Policy/ norms,” the CEO has written to the SHO Verinag.
The CEO further asked the SHO to lodge an FIR against the said school at the earliest and share the investigation report with the office of the CEO.
