The Children’s Day was celebrated with enthusiasm and zeal at Govt. Middle School Rangrez mohalla Kulgam.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kulgam, Showkat Ahmad was the chief guest and Chief Education Officer was invited as guest of honour during the function.
Children from different corners of Kulgam, teachers, and Resource persons of Zone Kulgam also participated in the event.
Speaking on the occasion, the ADC, Showkat Ahmad Rather greeted all students and discussed in detail about the essence of children’s Day.
CEO Kulgam thanked all the dignitaries with a message that the basic aim of Childrens’ day is Care, Awareness about Child rights, education for all children.
Later different types of gifts like, school bags, toys, copies, pens, and sweets were distributed among the children.
