In the Ongoing tension between India and China for the past 25 days, the Chinese army is continuously increasing its strength in the eastern Ladakh border,In the last few days, the Chinese army has accumulated a large stock of cannons and weapons here.
India is also seen making its full preparations to respond to any threats along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh.
The Indian Home Ministry has said that China is constantly trying to infiltrate the Line of Actual Control in Ladakh. China has been steadily increasing deployment of troops and artillery at a distance of 30 km on its way within the border.
In the midst of trying to resolve the dispute between India and China on the Ladakh border through dialogue from both sides, China is, reportedly showing no signs of budging and constantlt increasing its military strength in the eastern Ladakh border.
China’s Tabloid Global Times quoted military experts as saying, “The Chinese military included type 15 tanks, Z-20 helicopters and GJ-2 drones and weapons such as the Doklam issue with India in 2017. This can be exploited in the event of war or conflict in high altitude areas. The information on the list of these new weapons has come to light at a time when the border between China and India is growing.”
A military official, as reported by Indian Media, said, Indian and Chinese forces are delivering heavy equipment and weapon systems, including cannon and munitions, to military bases amid a dispute going on in disputed areas of eastern Ladakh for 25 days.
The Indian and Chinese sides are talking to each other at the battalion and brigade level everywhere in the eastern Ladakh region and this conversation has not yielded any results for the moment.
The print reported that China has encroached into Indian territory and, according to an estimate by the former Northern Army Commander, Lt. Gen. H.S. Panag, illegally occupied between 40-60 sq km of Indian territory in the Galwan River area and on the Indian side of Pangong Tso lake in Ladakh. It has also encroached into Indian territory in Naku La in north Sikkim.
