The Chinar Corps CDR along with Inspector General of Jammu Kashmir Police (IGP), SP Pani today visited Pahalgam and congratulated the forces for a incident free Yatra.
The Commander of Sector 1, CO 3 Rashtriya Rifles, 1 Rashtriya Rifles were also present on the occasion.
“We congratulate all the forces including Army, BSF, CRPF, ITBP and Jammu Kashmir Police who ensured a smooth conduct of Yatra without any incident,” the Indian Army said.
The IGP on the occasion also congratulated the Indian Security forces and thanked the people also for a smooth conduct of annual hindu pilgrimage.
Pertinently the Yatra that had begun on June 28 concluded on Sunday in south Kashmir Himalayas with over 2.85 lakh pilgrims paying obeisance this year. (The Kashmiriyat)
