One civilian has been injured as intense clashes erupted between youth and Government Forces in Lassipora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama District.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that as soon as the news of the encounter spread in nearby areas, people rushed to the encounter site in large numbers who were stopped by the Government Force personnel deployed there.
The Youth threw stones at the Forces, who fired tear smoke shells and pellets at them.
One youth was injured in the action of the Forces, as bodies of four Militants were recovered from the encounter site.
The encounter had raged between Militants and Government Forces including Army’s 44-RR, 182-BN CRPF, and JK Police, 2 AK-47 Rifles, 1 SLR and one pistol was recovered from the Militants, an Official told The Kashmiriyat.
Meanwhile Mobile Internet services have been suspended in this South Kashmir district.
