A civilian who was earlier injured in a grenade explosion near the SP office in Awantipora in South Kashmir has succumbed to his injuries.
Earlier Unknown persons hurled a grenade at the office of Superintendent of Police in Awantipora on Friday afternoon resulting in injuries to two persons, one of them has been critically wounded.
A Police official posted in Awantipora confirmed the attack to The Kashmiriyat and said that one civilian had sustained serious injuries.
The Injured civilians had been shifted to the nearby hospital for treatment where one man identified as Abdul Ahad Pinchoo has succumbed to his injuries.
