A civilian who sustained ‘critical’ injuries after a bullet from a Policeman hit him in Haal village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district has succumed to his injuries.
A police officer , as quoted by local news agency Kashmir New Trust said that it was an accidental fire.
The victim identified as Asif Ahmed, a resident of Koterwali Shopian was rushed to the nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and started an investigation into the matter. (KNT)
