Gulzar Ahmed Bhat, a resident of Murran village of Pulwama district whose dead body was found on Monday morning in his native village was lone son and bread earner of his family.
Family sources told The Kashmiriyat that Gulzar left home on Sunday at 5 pm for market, but he didn’t return till late evening.
“We tried to call him on phone but he didn’t pick up and we got worried,” they said.
“There heard multiple gun shots at around 9 30 pm however we were not aware that our Gulzar has been killed,” they said.
“Saturday morning our neighbours told us that bullet riddled body of Gulzar is lying in nearby fields,”they told The Kashmiriyat.
They said that they have lost everything as their only son has been killed. “For what they have left us here? who killed our Gulzar?Who will get my daughters married now? who will take care of his parents?” his father asked.
He was sole bread earner of his family as Gulzar is survived by aged parents and four sisters.
They said that Gulzar was first working as a labour and later he his cousin opened a eye clinic at Bijbehara.
They neigbours in the area remember him as a noble and down to earth person.
As per police he was killed by militants belong to hizb outfit, Hizb militants zahoor Thokar and Basharat dar are involved in his killing, they said
