A civilian was shot at allegedly by Indian Army as they opened fire upon civilians in Sirigufwara area of South Kashmir’s Islamabad District.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that a vegetable seller was shot by Army after a firecracker burst near their vehicle in the area.
Upon this the Army came down from their vehicles and opened fire, the civilian alleged.
However the Police said that Fire was opened upon Army and they responded.
‘We do not know whose fire injured him,”a police official told The Kashmiriyat.
The civilian has been shifted to a hospital, his condition is stated to be critical.
