The Government Agencies have said that there shall be no movement of convoy on the Kashmir Highway on Wednesday (17 April).
As such the Traffic plan issued earlier shall stand modified and normal traffic would ply on the NHW from Jammu towards Srinagar.
The Traffic Department has asked the commuters not to travel during night hours adding that No movement of any type of vehicle shall be allowed from opposite direction.

Meanwhile reports suggest that the condition of the National Highway has deteriorated and there have been landslides at certain places, due to which the Convoy shall not move from Jammu to Srinagar today, that is why civilian traffic is being allowed.
