Clashes Erupt in Palhalan, Dialgam

Clashes erupted between youth and government forces in Pallahalan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday.

Scores of youth protested in Palhallan area against the civilian killings in south Kashmir, Eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat.

The protesting youth threw stones on the government forces resulting in clashes.

Meanwhile clashes also erupted in Dialgam area of South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) District to protest the Killings.

Clashes also erupted in Chrar e Shareef Locality in Central Kashmir.

Troops deployed in the area amidst shutdown used force to disperse the protesters, however the clashes were going on in both the areas when this report was being filed.
