Clashes erupted as scores of youth hit the streets of Arreh area in Kulgam district of South Kashmir on Saturday evening.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that hundreds of youth from Nilow, MohammedPora, Kachohalan and several adjoining areas hit the streets on Saturday evening as soon as the firing at encounter site stopped.
The Forces fired tear smoke shells to disperse the protesters, however the clashes were going on when this report was filed.
Meanwhile firing has stopped at the encounter site, two Militant have been killed so far, three Army men have also been injured, A Police official told The Kashmiriyat.
He denied the reports of protests.
