Clashes between protesters and government forces erupted in Mujgund area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district where a gunfight between militants and forces is underway.
A Local told The Kashmiriyat that scores of protesters assembled and pelted stones on forces who responded by tear smoke shelling.
Announcements are being made on loudspeakers in the mosques asking others to come out, a local told The Kashmiriyat.
People from adjacent areas are trying marching towards the encounter site.
