After protests by students accross the Kashmir valley to demand justice for the 8 year old rape victim, the authorities in Kashmir have decided to suspend Classwork in many parts of the valley.

The classwork in Degree Colleges and Higher Secondary Schools of Islamabad town and Bijbehara Town shall remain suspended tomorrow on 21st April.
District Administration, the DC of Islamabad confirmed to The Kashmiriyat.
In Kulgam, the officials said that Class work in Degree College kulgam and Boys Hr sec school kulgam shall remain suspended tomorrow.
Similarly In Shopian and Pulwama the district administration officials confirmed that Higher secondaries and colleges will remain closed as a preventive measure.
The Degree College of Sopore including Boys Higher Secondary Sopore will remain closed tomorrow on Saturday 21 April as a precautionary measure, Sources said.
While women’s College and Girls Higher Secondary Sopore will remain functional as per schedule.
Classwork in all Degree Colleges, Higher Secondaries shall remain suspended tomorrow on Saturday in District Bandipora, while authorities decided to open educational institutions in Gurez sector.
District Magistrate Bandipora said that Higher Secondaries and Colleges Shall remain closed in Ganderbal.
Classwork shall remain suspended in GDC Handwara, BHSS/GHSS Handwara and HSS Langate/Vilgam tomorrow on 21st April (Saturday) as a precautionary measure. (District Administration Kupwara).
In Srinagar too the Classwork shall remain suspended in Srinagar colleges .
