The Block Development Officer Pahloo Kulgam, Javid Ahmad Sheikh on Friday initiated the ‘Road and Public places cleaning drive’.
The drive was started at Arigutnoo Block of Kulgam District in South Kashmir and during the day long exercise, Cow dung and other wastes along Road sides were removed using bulldozers and Tractors.
The inhabitants of the area provided full cooperation in this endeavor and also resolved to keep their surroundings clean henceforth.
The local people have thanked the Rural Development Department for initiating this action and have expected that such exercises be continued in future as well.
