Community schooling is a novel option to combat academic loss of students occurred due to pandemic of the COVID-19.
Many schools in the Kashmir valley have started this initiative and in this noble deed higher secondary school Damhal is not lagging behind.
“Few days back, all our staff members unanimously decided to carry out community schooling somewhere outside our institution with necessary protocol and health advisory to be followed. Within days, we witnessed a flood of students coming from different corners who are very much eager to learn even in the prevailing hard times,” a teacher said, Khurshid Ahmed, a teacher told The Kashmiriyat.
Khurshid says that the syllabus of students would be completed within a stipulated time and shortly after that,mock test would be conducted to make the students prepared for the forthcoming examination.
“We are sincerely dreaming to come up to the expectations of our community and help our students to achieve their desired goals. Though this challenge is difficult but our emotions are strong enough to face it and make it happen.”
Speaking to The Kashmiriyat Khurshid said that their dedicated efforts for children to ensure fruitful future will continue till pandemic ends.
