A video of Bhishma Pal Singh, the station officer (SO) of Bhatni police station in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh, has gone viral in which he is allegedly seen doing a masturbate in front of a woman who came to file a complaint.
The Superintendent of Police of Deoria Dr. Shripati Mishra told news agency ANI on Tuesday that an FIR has been lodged against the accused and has been suspended.
According to the victim, her application regarding the land dispute kept getting delayed and she was repeatedly called to the police station.
The victim said, “I later made a video of it. I went to the police station with my mother and then father. Both times the police office was touching it. If this is the behavior of the police, how will law and order be maintained.” “
Pertinently according to the data of National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), the condition of Uttar Pradesh is very worrying for the safety of women in India.
