The Congress party has won 20 wards of Islamabad (Anantnag) municipal committee as counting has ended for the four phase elections here on Saturday.
Officials told The Kashmiriyat that out of 25 wards, Congress has won 20 wards while BJP has secured three seats and the rest 2 have gone to independents.
A total of 240 votes were cast in 16 wards of the council while the rest wards remained uncontested, officials added.
